injuries sustained

That
no
part
of
the amount appropriated
in
this Act shall be paid

delivered
to
or
received by any agent
or
attorney
on
account
of
services rendered
in connection with
this
claim,
and the
same shall
be
unlawful,

contract

That the
Secretary
of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money
in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Mrs. Juanita Burna,
Warwick, Virginia, the sum of $15,335.93. The payment of such
sum
sliall
be in full settlement of all claims of Mrs. Juanita Burna
against the United States on account of severe personal injuries sus-
tained by her on October
5,1954,
when the automobile she was driving
on the island of Okinawa in the Ryukyu Islands was struck by a
vehicle owned by the United States and operated by its
agent:

That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess
of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received
by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connec-
tion with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract

Be it
enacted
by the Senate and House of
Representatives
of the
United
States of
Amei'ica
in Congress assembled. That the Secretary
of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay,
out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the
sum of $495.22 to C. A. Nolan of Seymour, Indiana, in full settlement
of all claims against the United States.
The payment of such sum represents the increased costs of produc-
tion of one thousand and fifty one-hundredths tons of bituminous
coal
furnished
various Civilian Conservation Corps camps under con-
tract No.
W-5501-qm-CIV-1649,
dated June 11, 1941. Such Civilian
Conservation Corps camps were under the jurisdiction of the United
States Department of the Army:
Provided,
That no part of the
amount appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or re-
ceived by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in
connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any con-
tract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the pro-
visions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000.
