Spanish 4 Honors Oral Presentation Rubric

You are going to be assigned a specific Spanish artist, and the presentation date. This is
your opportunity to shine, you will be teaching the class. The requirements are as follows:
1. Include a time line of the important events in the artist’s life.
2. Show your knowledge of the artist by explaining how the artist’s experiences in life
influenced his/her style.
3. Important historical context that affected the artist’s life.
4. Present the material through a PowerPoint presentation.
5. Present the artist by becoming the artist. Wear a costume that would identify or
wear an outfit that represents one of the artists’ work or art.
6. The oral presentation has to be between ten to fifteen minutes.
7. Share six paintings with the class.
8. Analyze, compare and contrast in detail three of the six paintings.
9. If more than one person in each class has the same artist, each person must have
different sets of paintings. Let me know ASAP which paintings you chose.
10. At least two days before the presentation date, e-mail the teacher your
PowerPoint (one point deducted per late delivery date), and the final “A

Student has excellent pronunciation and speaks at the appropriate pace and
with appropriate expression to be well-understood by the audience.
