Purpose
The Patriots Jet Team Foundation (“PJTF”), a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, located in Byron, California, is pleased
to announce its 2023 Philip E. Gannon College Engineering Award Program (“Program”). These awards are being
made possible by the generous support of the Philip E. Gannon Foundation, San Francisco Bay Area Engineering
Council, and Engineers Club of San Francisco.
This Program is for high school students who have a keen interest in obtaining a college degree, certificate of
achievement, or equivalent in an engineering discipline at an accredited community college or 4-year college /
university. Program award recipients must be accepted and enrolled in an engineering program before any award
funds are distributed. It is the responsibility of the Program award recipient to notify the PJTF once enrolled in an
engineering program, which must occur within six months of being notified as an award recipient. Program awards
can only be used for tuition, fees, text books, learning materials, campus housing / meals, or transportation expenses.
These are one-time, non-reoccurring awards and offered under the following two (2) application categories:
• Community College Award (2-year Certificate of Achievement, or equivalent) $2,500
• College / University Award (4-year BS Degree Program) $5,000
Program awards are made as PJTF funds and, as such, the PJTF reserves the right to select the Program award
recipients based on the PJTF evaluation process, including eligibility requirements, content of application
packet, and personal interview. The PJTF will act as the final arbiter regarding all matters regarding this Program.
