RHODES SCHOLARSHIP
The Rhodes Scholarships are postgraduate awards supporting exceptional students from
around the world to study at the University of Oxford. The oldest and perhaps the most
prestigious international scholarship program in the world, the Rhodes aims to nurture public-
spirited leaders for the world’s future. The scholarships cover all University of Oxford fees along
with a stipend for living expenses and airfare.
Rhodes Scholars have gone on to become Pulitzer Prize winners, heads of state or government,
and Nobel Laureates. Over the past 20 years, 26 University of Toronto students have been
awarded a Rhodes Scholarship.
