tion and mitigate non-conformities through daily plant inspection and data monitoring
• Assist production, process, and quality departments of 10+ engineers with industrial process audits, with one eligible for the Scientif-
ic Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) Tax Credit program for producing a 76% more sustainable cement
• Analyze plant, process, and equipment failures using Apollo’s Root Cause Analysis methodology and rigorous data analysis, which
reduces recurrence rate by 80% and machinery downtime
• Optimize the plant process by coordinating with relevant stakeholders to install a Near Infrared (NIR) analyzer in the alternative fuels
system, which benefits 40+ plant operators, technicians, and employees

mote a culture of sustainable practices, integrity, and self-accountability
Papercrete Project Lead July 2020 – April 2021
• Founded a project of 8 members to investigate sustainable concrete by utilizing waste papercrete as a cement substitute and en-
sured students from dierent disciplines understood project theories by hosting 20+ hours of workshops and lectures
• Ensured a steady progress on project by establishing a detailed timeline, project expenditure, and budgeted a total of $900 for the
project capital cost, where 95% of the estimated cost was secured through Professional Activities Fund
• Conducted life-cycle analysis of papercrete from cradle-to-gate and determined an environmental impact of 0.305 CO2-eq/kg
TECHNICAL PROJECTS
Process Design of Vinyl Chloride Production, UBC January 2021 – April 2021
• Designed a process simulation in Apsen Plus on the production of Vinyl Chloride monomer from Ethylene Dichloride (EDC) with an
EDC purity of 89.6% in the liquid-liquid extractor and an optimized EDC purity of 99.5% through a boil up design specification
Environmental Impact Analysis of Fuel Cell and Electric Vehicles, UBC September 2020 – December 2020
• Compared the greenhouse gases emission of fuel cell and electric vehicles to internal combustion engine vehicles using cradle to
grave life-cycle analysis and determined that fuel cell vehicles produced 97% more GHG emissions
