COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION TRAILER:
Construction trailer for a commercial project does require a building permit. If utilities are needed for the
construction trailer, a simple electric and/or simple plumbing permit will be required. General contractor will
apply for permit and list required subcontractors.
Requirements: Construction trailer shall not encroach the building line setbacks.

RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION TRAILER:
Construction trailer for residential projects require a building permit. If utilities are needed for the
construction trailer, a simple electric and/or simple plumbing permit will be required. General contractor will
apply for permit and list required subcontractors.
Requirements: Construction trailer shall not encroach the Residential Zoning required setbacks.
NECESSARY DRAWINGS AND DOCUMENTS: The following is a general outline of Drawings and documents
necessary for plan review (Building Inspection may request additional information if necessary).
1. Site plan must include property line, building line setbacks, and location of trailer.
2. Construction trailer shall not encroach the building line setbacks.

NOTE:
1. Balance of all fees must be paid prior to issuance of building permit.
2. Drawings must be drawn to scale, dimensioned and of sufficient clarity.
3. Permit holder is responsible for requesting and completing all required inspections.
