Transfer Requirements
1. Complete the associate degree with a 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA.
2. ENG 111, ENG 112, and the required MTH course for the pathway must be completed with a C or higher in the first 45 credits.
3. Transfer to Mason for the fall or spring semester immediately following the conferral of the pathway associate degree.
4. Grades of C or higher are required for transfer credit. Select programs may require a higher grade in specified courses. See the
program-specific requirements noted on the pathway.
5. Students must complete their associate degree within five years of entering the program.

Additional Academic Information:
Students who complete a VCCS transfer associate degree (AS, AA, AA&S, & AFA) will receive a waiver of the Foundation and
Exploration (lower division) Mason Core general education categories. To be eligible for the waiver, the students must provide the
Mason Office of Admissions with a final, official transcript reflecting the degree conferral date. As a prerequisite for ENGH 302, ENGH
101 is not waived. Students must complete ENGH 100 or ENGH 101, or an equivalent, with a C or higher.
All students seeking a bachelor's degree must apply at least 45 credits of upper-level courses (numbered 300 or above) toward
graduation.
