LIETUVIØ KALBOS EVIDENCIALUMO GRAMATINË RAIÐKA
(TIPOLOGINIS POÞIÛRIS)

Straipsnyje apþvelgiamos ir ávertinamos tipologiðkai lietuviø kalbos gramatinës priemonës evi-
dencialumui reikðti. Apsiribota bendrine kalba. Evidencialumas suprantamas kaip visuma reikðmiø,
rodanèiø ðaltiná ar pagrindà, kuriuo kalbëtojas remiasi perteikdamas informacijà. Nuo evidencialumo
skirtinas episteminis modalumas (kaip kalbëtojas vertina informacijà). Lietuviø kalboje evidencialu-
mui reikðti vartojamos dviejø tipø dalyvinës konstrukcijos, kuriø vienai bûdinga perpasakojamoji
(ang. hearsay), kitai inferentinë funkcija. Taèiau abi konstrukcijos daþnai pasiþymi papildomomis
episteminëmis funkcijomis paprastai kalbëtojo abejone informacijos patikimumu.
Lietuviø kalbos dalyviai patys savaime evidencialumo reikðmës neturi; ji iðryðkëja tiktai tam tik-
rose konstrukcijose, kuriø branduolá sudaro dalyviai. Todël galima teigti, kad lietuviø (bendrinëje)
kalboje nëra specialiø morfologiniø priemoniø evidencialumui þymëti. Be to, evidencialumo reikðmë
visai nëra bûtina net ir tam tikrose dalyvinëse konstrukcijose; ji vyrauja tik kai kuriuose kalbos sti-
liuose tautosakoje ir publicistikoje. Galø gale, dalyvinës konstrukcijos tarsi ðliejasi prie kitø gra-
matiniø kategorijø (perfekto ir argumentø sumaþinimo bûdø, ang. argument demotion), kuriø para-
digmø pagrindà sudaro tie patys dalyviai.
Straipsnyje lietuviø kalbos konstrukcijos evidencialumui þymëti lyginamos su bulgarø kalbos per-
fektu, nuo kurio lietuviø kalbos perfektas skiriasi pagrindine perpasakojamàja funkcija, nesikertanèia
su inferentine funkcija. Apskritai lietuviø kalbos sistema dël opozicijos, neturinèios atitikmens bulgarø
kalboje, su -ta-/-ma- dalyviø konstrukcija pasiþymi kiek skirtingais formø ir reikðmiø santykiais. Taèiau
ir bulgarø, ir lietuviø kalbos kategorijos silpnai skiriasi nuo episteminio modalumo.
Lietuviø kalbos evidencialumo gramatinës raiðkos sistema, palyginti su kitomis Eurazijos kalbo-
mis, turinèiomis ne visai sugramatintà ðios kategorijos sistemà, iðsiskiria tuo, kad evidencialumas
þymimas dviem priemonëmis, o ne viena.
