BOROUGH OF HADDONFIELD
NOTICE OF TAX SALE
FOR UNPAID PROPERTY TAXES, SEWER CHARGES, ASSESSMENTS,
AND OTHER MUNICIPAL CHARGES FOR 2022
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that I, Megan Giordano, Collector of Taxes for the Borough of
Haddonfield, in the County of Camden pursuant to the authority of the Statutes in such case made
and provided will on: Thursday December 7, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. of that day, at 242 Kings Highway
E in the said Taxing District or at such other time and place to which said sale may be adjourned,
exposed for sale and sell the several tracts and parcels of land hereinafter specified for the total amount
of municipal liens chargeable against said lands respectively with interest thereon computed to the 7
th
of December 2023 and cost of sale.
The said lands will be struck off and sold to such person as will purchase the same, subject to the
redemption at the lowest rate of interest, but in no case in excess of eighteen (18) percent annum. The
payment for the sale shall be made before the conclusion of the sale. Payment for liens purchased
shall be made via cash, money order, certified check or wire transfer prior to the conclusion of the
sale.
Any of said tracts of land may be redeemed before sale by payment of the amount due thereon and
all additional interest due on subsequent delinquent taxes, in cash or certified/bank check.
THE NAMES SHOWN ARE AS THEY APPEAR IN THE LATEST TAX DUPLICATE AND
DO NOT NECESSARILY MEAN THAT THE PARTIES ARE THE PRESENT OWNERS OF
THE PROPERTY.
This sale is made under the provisions of the "Tax Sale Law" Title 54, Chapter 5, and Revised Statutes
of New Jersey. This sale is for Taxes, Sewer, Assessments, and Other Municipal Charges for the year
2022 and may include years prior to 2022.
Industrial properties may be subject to the Spill Compensation and Control Act (N.J.S.A. 58:10-23.11
et seq.), the Water Pollution Control Act (N.J.S.A.58:10A-1 et seq.), and the Industrial Site Recovery
Act (N.J.S.A. 13:1K-6 et seq.). In addition, the municipality is precluded from issuing a tax sale
certificate to any prospective purchaser who is or may be in any way connected to the prior owner or
operator of the site. IN THE EVENT THE OWNER IS ON ACTIVE DUTY WITH THE
MILITARY, THE COLLECTOR SHOULD BE NOTIFIED IMMEDIATELY
