GETTING STARTED
Choosing a career direction in today’s economy while completing secondary school is a challenge but
also an opportunity. In this section you will put together a complete a picture of yourself and your
passion. The more your career choice(s) match the unique set of assets you can bring to them, the
greater the chances of your success.
1. Skills: are learned abilities to do something well; they can be used in different work/life
situation. List a minimum of 5 transferable skills you have or hope to acquire. (Transferable skills are skills or
abilities which develop over time and which can be used in a variety of school, work, social or other situations)
