Trend Micro is providing new Customer Success Services to our partners. These services support partners to achieve
your goal of being recognized as trusted advisors to customers.
By leveraging Trend Micro Security Assessment Service and Best Practice Guides, partners will be able to help assess
your customers and prospects environments and guide them through a series of easy steps to ensure they adhere to
best practices and achieve maximum levels of security.
Trend Micro Security Assessment Service: It offers two quick and easy-to-run assessments, which combine to
produce a detailed view of email and endpoint threats found across organizations’ segments.
Best Practice Guide - Security Compliance Report: This compliance report outlines the current status of
endpoints protected by Trend Micro Apex One™ or Trend Micro™ OfficeScan™ and makes recommendations
specifically targeted at enhancing the overall security posture of a customers’ implementation.
With Trend Micro Customer Success Services, customers are able to assess their environments for vulnerabilities across
segments of their organizations and ensure that they adhere to best practices and achieve maximum levels of security.
Here are the two new services included in the Customer Success Services:
Trend Micro Security Assessment Service
Trend Micro Security Assessment Service is a quick and easy-to-run security assessment that provides a detailed view of
threats found across segments of an organization to help prospects know how well their current email and endpoint
security is really performing. It offers a simple way for partners to help prospects:
Check Microsoft 365® for email threats
Check key endpoints for threats
Provide a final report in a PDF to share with stakeholders

Trend Micro Security Assessment offers following services for partners. Partners can invite your prospects and customers to
perform security assessment.
Email Marketing: Use the email template to invite your prospects and customers to use the security assessment. The
email is intended to be co-branded with your company logo and contact information alongside Trend Micro. The email
template can be found under Partner Portal - Email Marketing.
1. Invitation Email Template
White-label Security Assessment Landing Page: Trend Micro provides white-label security assessment service for
our partners. The landing page will be co-branded with the partner’s logo and icon. For Trend Micro partners, you can
request this white-label landing page through Partner Portal – Security Assessment White-label Request Form.

Email Assessment
The service scans all messages sent and
received over the preceding 15 to 30 days for
all Microsoft 365® users in customer's
environment.
Once completed, a report will be displayed
providing a detailed view of assessment results
and showing the total number of emails
scanned and the top affected users.
Endpoint Assessment
The service runs on potentially compromised
endpoints identified in the "Email Assessment
Report".
The service identifies suspicious activities, collects
system information and threat samples, and then
uploads data for in-depth analysis and reporting.
The summary shows the total number of total
endpoints scanned and the total number of
malicious and suspicious found.

Best Practice Guide – Security Compliance Report
4. Security Compliance Sample Report
This high-level security report is intended to provide an overview of the customer’s current status with
Trend Micro Apex One™ or Trend Micro™ OfficeScan™ deployment in compliance with Trend Micro’s best practice
recommendations.
By running this tool with your support, customers will have following benefits:
Customers will be able to get a report showing the current deployment status of their endpoint security solution,
coupled with best practice recommendations they can apply to maximize their security posture.
Customers can ensure that Trend Micro Apex One™ and Trend Micro™ OfficeScan™ are configured with the correct
services, latest components, consistent settings, and are running scans regularly.
Customers with Trend Micro™ OfficeScan™ XGen solution will receive a report detailing the recommended
requirements for upgrading to Trend Micro Apex One™.
If you would like to use these assessment services to support your customers and prospects, please submit a request
through the Partner Portal. We have prepared briefing documents for partners to learn more about these security
assessments and the best practice guide. Log in to Partner Portal and download these materials under “Customer
Success”.
You may qualify for additional discounts when registering an opportunity arising from use of Trend Micro Security
Assessment Service or the Best Practice Guide. Don’t forget to complete the deal registration, and to note your use of
these tools.
