Mediation is a process where a neutral third party called a Mediator helps landlords and tenants
communicate to resolve issues through mutual agreement. Your attorney may attend the mediation with
you. Mediation is a free alternative to the court process, but there is no guarantee that an agreement may
be reached by both parties. If an agreement is not reached in mediation, your case will proceed on in court.
All discussions in mediation are confidential.
