Below is a list of the key changes:
Global:
1. Customer Advocate Department calendar available for excluding task auto-assignment.
2. Primary Phone number field displayed on all Contact search results.
3. Longitude value displayed on inspections for all locations. Address should no longer display in China
on Mobile App.
4. QCR, Audit and Energy Inspections will no longer display in ACA.
Land Development
5. Withdraw/Refund Amendment changes:
Workflow Tasks history will no longer display duplicate entries.
Building
6. NEW RECORDS:
Building Move Permit ApplicationWill be auto-assigned to “Customer Advocate when
received.
Building-Related-Fire Codes Appeals-Advisory Board RequestWill be auto-assigned to
DSD Admin Support” when received.
Preliminary Plan Review RequestWill be auto-assigned to “Plan Review Admin” when
received.
Billboard Demolition Permit ApplicationWill be auto-assigned to “Sign Inspection
Supervisor” when received.
Site Consultation Request (available in AA ONLY)
7. Annual Maintenance Permit changes:
Applications will only require a Licensed Professional with the appropriate trade license
prior to submission.
Annual Maintenance Fees for application submitted from ACA will be systematically
invoiced after Completeness Review is closed.
Completeness Review will be prevented from closing if "Certificate of Insurance” document
is not uploaded.

8. Commercial Project Applicationchanges:
In ACA ONLY - Prevent user from unchecking Sitework permit type if Complete New Building
permit type is also checked.
“Finish Out” permit type will only display as an option when Phased is NO.”
Update Inspections to Pending to allow scheduling when the Trade Work Permitted Custom
List Date for the corresponding Trade is updated with a Date in AA.
Activate CPS Release Task to “CPS Permanent Review Required” status and Permit Closure
Task to “COO Issuance Review Required” status and assign to Customer Advocate when all
inspections are closed. Staff will review for COO Issuance and if approved will close the
tasks which will generate Certificate of Occupancy and send CPS Permanent interface to
CPS.
Building Addressing Inspection will be available for creating and scheduling on the
Commercial Building Permit.
When “Building Addressing” inspection is scheduled, it will be auto-assigned to the same
Addressing Planner who performed the Technical Review.
The following items have been added to the “Special Inspection Details” Checklist:

Fabricated Type: Shop/Factory
Fabricated Type: Field

Technical Review Sidewalk/Traffic has been updated to systematically assign via round
robin to Traffic Sidewalk Reviewer (if existing TIA Report) otherwise to “TCI Streets
Reviewer
Electrical inspections will default for Complete New Building when customer indicates
Electrical work is in scope.
Retaining Wall Inspection will default for Minor Structure Retaining Wall.
9. Certificate of Occupancy Applicationchanges:
a. Occupant Load and Occupant Group fields on the Application will be systematically updated
when COO Checklist is updated on a Building COO or Fire COO inspection.
FFE Certificate will be systematically created when Custom List row is updated to Active.
10. Demolition Pedestrian Protection Applicationchanges:
Permit Fee Waiver task will only activate if customer indicates Waiver Eligible as YES.”
Electrical Inspection will auto-default to be created on the permit when the customer
indicates Electrical Contractor will be required.
11. Limited Services Repair Applicationchanges:
Question “Is this for a water softener or reverse osmosis?” is now required when requesting
Plumbing type. If customer indicates YES, WTT License type will be allowed.
Print Shop Property Owner Letter file will be created systematically Mon-Fri.
12. Manufactured Home Applicationchanges:
Technical Review Zoning will only activate when updated manually by Staff.
13. MEP Trade Applicationchanges:

Applications will be prevented from submission if Outside City Limits.
Electrical Work with CPS inspection will be defaulted and created on the permit if customer
indicates YES to work with CPS.
Release to CPS WWCPS interrace will only generate once (Residential When WWCPS fee
is paid on the Application or Commercial When WWCPS Inspection is Passed on the
Permit)
Inspections Canceled from ACA will now create a new inspection pending for customer to
schedule.
Technical Reviews will not default to Additional Info Required if the required document(s)
were uploaded at submission. Instead the task will be activated in “Under Review”.
Technical Review Electrical will not auto-assign to “Residential Building Supervisor "
Group.
LOC will be issued on the Permit when the last inspection has been closed and there are no
inspections left in status of “Pending” or “Scheduled.”
When Completion MEP Permit is requested, then only the required Inspections will default
under the “Inspection <TRADE> Completion” section.
NFPA 99 Health Care Code Checklist will not be available on the Medical Gas Rough-in
inspections.
14. Minor Building Repair Applicationchanges:
Licensed Professional will not be required for Commercial Minor Repairs.
Technical Review OHP will be auto-assigned to “Historic Preservation Reviewer.”
15. Building Fence Applicationchanges:
Site Plan will be required prior to submission.
16. Residential Building Applicationchanges:
Applications can be submitted for addresses in OCL PMRES.
Permit Fee Waiver task will only activate if customer indicates Waiver Eligible as YES.”
When the Permit is created, the Tree Preliminary Inspection will be created and auto-
scheduled for the next Business Day and auto-assigned to “Tree” group.
Building Final Inspection will auto-assign to Building Inspection Supervisor when scheduled.
17. Residential Improvements Applicationchanges:
Convenience Fee will only invoice once per request (regardless of the number of permits
types being requested).
Customer will receive the “Additional Fees Assessed” email when fees are invoiced and
Application is in status of Fees Due.
The following checklists in the Building Inspection types will be available as separate
checklists:
Building Planning (IRC CH.3)
Foundation (IRC. CHP.4)
Floors (IRC CHP.5)
Wall Construction (IRC CHP.6)
18. Sidewalk/Curb Permit Applicationchanges:

Construction Document is required.
Fees indicated with (i) can now be paid in AA by ICRIP when customer qualifies for Waiver.
19. Sign Permit Application changes:
Permit Fee Waiver task will only activate if customer indicates Waiver Eligible as YES.”
On-Premise Type: Technical Review Flood will systematically activate when address is
within Flood area.
On-Premise Type: Technical Review Aviation will systematically activate when address is
within AHOD area.
All Types except Billboard Demolition: Technical Review NCD will systematically activate
when address is within NCD Corridor Overlays.
20. Tree Affidavit/Permit Application changes:
Staff will be prevented from closing Completeness Review if balance is owed on permit
application.
Technical Review due date will systematically set to 10 business days from the date the task
is activated.
21. City License Application changes:
Completeness Review Task will auto-assign to Building Inspection Supervisor for Special
Inspector license registration requests.
For Electrical Maintenance License Registration: Toyota Supplier question was enabled for
update during Renewal.
22. State License Application changes:
Converted License from Hansen will not create a duplicate license when updated manually.
Customer will not be allowed to register a State license that is already registered with the
City.
Fire
23. NEW RECORDS:
Fire Special Events
Fire Storage Tanks
24. Fire Annual Permit
When user “Reschedules” inspections they will only be allowed to select dates that fall on
Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
25. Fire Damage
Authorized Agent Letter Document Type is not required in AA.
26. Fire HazMat
Internal Only fields will no longer display in ACA.
Priority Classification will now default to “P1.”
Fire HazMat Late Fee will only be invoiced Monthly.

27. Fire Life Safety System
Company Name/Business Owner and Property Owner will be required during Renewal.
28. Fire Systems
Licensed Professional is required for all Permit Types excluding Spray Booth if Engineer is
not included on the application.
Visual Inspection" fee will only invoice when Total Heads is over 20.
When Visual Inspection is resulted as Failed or Phased Passed, the customer will be invoiced
$150 Fire Re-inspection Fee.
Fire Alarm Inspection Block Times changed:
> 60 prevented
Between 0 and 201 hour block time
Between 21 and 40 = 2 hours block time
Between 41 and 603 hours block time
Technical Review Aviation due date will be systematically set to 18 Business days from
activation.
Plan Review Fees for Alarm will not be invoiced if Heads is less than 20.
Plan Review Fees for Sprinkler will not be invoiced if devices is less than 5.
Code Enforcement
29. NEW RECORDS:
Administrative Hearing
Supervisors will continue to monitor existing cases in SharePoint, all new Admin
Hearing Citations will use new Accela Record and Hearing Calendar
Training will be conducted 1 on 1 by request to
