HOW MANY GUESTS ARE REQUIRED TO BOOK A BIRTHDAY PARTY?
A minimum of 9 teens are required on the package.
DOES THE GUEST COUNT INCLUDE THE BIRTHDAY HONOREE?
Yes, please include the birthday honoree in your guest count.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM AGE INCLUDED IN A TEEN PACKAGE?
Packages are available for ages 13 to 17.
HOW DO YOU CHARGE FOR THE ADULTS ATTENDING THE BIRTHDAY PARTY?
Adults who are not included in the package are welcome to reserve additional lanes. Clients
have the option to either pre-order food ahead of time or order when they arrive. Please note
that there is limited space available at the lanes for guests not included in the package. If you
anticipate having more guests beyond those included in the package, we recommend consulting
with your Event Specialist to discuss arrangements to ensure a smooth experience for everyone.
CAN I BRING A CAKE OR CUPCAKES?
Yes, however they must be store-bought/bakery made. We also oer delicious dessert choices
that can be added to your birthday package. Kings will provide small plates, forks, and napkins
for your convenience. Candles are not provided by Kings. It is the responsibility of the client to
cut and serve the cake.
DO YOU ALLOW OUTSIDE CATERING?
We are a full-service restaurant, so we do not allow outside food & beverage. If there are specific
menu needs or dietary restrictions, please contact your Event Specialist to discuss the options
available.
WILL I HAVE A PARTY HOST?
A server is assigned to your event and will be available to assist you and your guests during your
time at the bowling lanes.
CAN I HAVE DECORATIONS AT MY EVENT?
Kings does not provide decorations. However, you are welcome to bring your own! Please no
confetti, glitter, silly string, or candles (other than for the cake). No nails, screws, staples, or
penetrating items shall be used on walls, wood, or other fine surfaces.
HOW LONG WILL MY PARTY LAST?
Birthday parties are booked for 1 ½ hours on the lanes and then the teens will move to the
arcade area. There is not a dedicated space during the arcade, so you are welcome to move to
the restaurant area during that time.
HOW LONG DOES THE GAME CARD LAST?
The duration of the game card varies depending on the skill of the player and the number of
games played. A general idea is:
$15 Game Card: approximately 12 - 18 minutes of game play
$20 Game Card: approximately 15 - 20 minutes of game play
HOW DO I BOOK THE BIRTHDAY PARTY?
Contact the venue directly to speak to an Event Specialist or you may submit a request through
our website to start planning your event at playatkings.com/start-planning-your-event/. Once
you have selected your package, you will receive a contract. Aer reviewing the contract and
terms, you will electronically sign and return along with a credit card authorization form. Full
payment is due at the conclusion of the Event by credit card.
WHAT IF I AM UNSURE OF MY GUEST COUNT? WHEN DO YOU NEED MY FINAL COUNT?
While keeping in mind the minimum (9 teens) and maximum (32 teens) for your event, we
recommend contracting for a lower guest count. Your final guaranteed guest count is due 7 days
prior to your event, and you may decrease 10% from your original contracted count.
AM I ABLE TO EXTEND OUR EVENT TIME ON-SITE?
We suggest confirming your event space in advance for the desired amount of time since there
will most likely be a group booked aer your event. If you do decide to extend it on-site and the
space is available, our management team will work with you to accommodate and charge the
additional fee.
HOW DO I MAKE CHANGES TO MY EVENT AFTER IT IS CONFIRMED?
To make changes to your event, aer it is confirmed, please call, or email your Event Specialist
listed on your contract. They will be happy to help you!
WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE TO CANCEL?
All events are non-refundable. Complete details on the cancellation can be provided by your Event
Specialist and will be outlined under the Terms and Conditions of the Contract.
HOW EARLY CAN I ARRIVE? WHAT IF I’M RUNNING LATE?
We suggest you and your guests arrive 10 to 15 minutes early. This will allow time to check-in.
Please contact us if you are running late. We start and end your lanes / event space according to
the times stated on your event contract. However, we may be able to extend your lanes,
depending upon lane availability at the time your event ends. Additional fees will be incurred.
