Barrett, The Honors College, first apply to Arizona State University and then may begin the separate Barrett application. Please
note: the university application must only be submitted; admission to ASU need not be conferred before a student starts the
Barrett application.
There are four Barrett application deadlines: Early Action (November 1), Regular Decision (January 15), Late Consideration (March
8), and Late Consideration II (April 1). Students are encouraged to apply by the Early Action deadline to give themselves the best
chance for a positive decision. This allows students to apply for Barrett scholarships with a deadline of February 1, 2020.
Prospective Barrett students should have a complete admissions application on file with ASU at least 4-6 weeks before the
appropriate Barrett deadline. This includes submitting the ASU application, official test scores, high school transcripts. Students
who wait to apply to ASU until a few weeks before a Barrett admissions deadline will struggle to have a complete honors college
application submitted on time because the ASU regular application can take 6 weeks to process.
